James H. Cobb, Founder
President / Chief Executive OfficerWith a total of 37 years in management, James Cobb has primarily focused the last 25 years in the medical field. Mr. Cobb began as assistant business manager for a practice comprised of twenty-five radiologists in 1980. He then managed a multi-specialty clinic for six years. Since then, Mr. Cobb has served as CEO for the Pacific Cataract Laser Institute, Pacific Eye Center and currently, Orion Medical Services. This experience includes management of organizational employees in excess of one hundred fifty, as well as managing budgets in excess of thirty million dollars per year. In the past 12 years, James Cobb has developed, constructed and managed seven high-volume ambulatory surgery centers, all of which have achieved financial success. He has been a member of the Medical Group Management Association (MGMA) for 20 years as well as a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Administrators (ASOA). Mr. Cobb attended the University of Texas, and Southwestern Union College, holds a private pilots license with multi-engine and instrument ratings, and is a member of the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). An accomplished pianist, he is also very active in community and church activities.
Cynthia Jansen
Facility CoordinatorCindy Jansen has a leading role between Orion Medical Services and our managed Ambulatory Surgery Centers. Cindy serves as a liaison for all of the owned and managed facilities, their staff and Physicians. Ms. Jansen provides our clients with superior leadership, including staff training, physician credentialing, and ensuring all policies and procedures are followed according to accreditation regulations. With a strong knowledge of both billing and medical practices, Cindy brings extensive hands-on experience to the Orion team.
Scott Freytag
Senior Information Systems EngineerMr. Freytag has extensive experience in Healthcare Information Systems ranging from Hospitals to Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Clinical Offices. Having worked in several hospitals, and clinical offices through out Oregon, Mr. Freytag now brings his expertise of nearly 10 years to the Ambulatory Surgery Center field. Mr. Freytag oversees all of Orion Medical Services in house and affiliated networks through out the United States. Mr. Freytag manages all Information Systems to maintain high levels of security, and HIPAA compliance for all of our AAAHC certified centers. A great asset to Orion, Mr. Freytag is instrumental in the growth and management of all Information Systems with Orion and partners.

Scott McNulty
Executive Vice President / Chief Financial OfficerScott McNulty has over 20 years experience in accounting, extensive management skills and is also a Registered Nurse. Mr. McNulty received his Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree from Oregon Heath Sciences University in 1994 and has co-managed a successful residential nursing care facility with his wife since then. Mr. McNulty's nursing, management, accounting, and computer skills provide him with multi-faceted knowledge that proves to be a valuable asset to Orion. As Orion's Chief Financial Officer, Mr. McNulty works closely with James Cobb on development, systems analysis, budgeting, and reporting for Orion's facilities. A valuable member of the Orion Medical Services team, Mr. McNulty offers a wealth of expertise and is instrumental in the successful operations of our ambulatory surgery centers.
Misty Demagalski
Human Resources / Benefits CoordinatorWith over 10 years experience in Human Resources with large corporations, and small organizations, Misty Demagalski has acquired an extensive knowledge of office practices. Ms. Demagalski currently provides Human Resource administration for all Orion Medical Services owned and managed facilities. This includes implementation of benefits, employment issue resolution and maintaining current knowledge in Oregon, California and Arizona employment law, as well as expertise in HIPAA privacy and security regulations.
C. Reacal Martin
Accounts Receivable DirectorReacal brings to the Orion team 10 years of medical coding, reimbursement, and management experience in addition to her research and data analysis skills. Reacal completed her education at the University of Montana and was awarded a B.A. in Sociology. In 2006 she obtained her national certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) and was awarded her specialty credential as an Ambulatory Surgery Center Coder (CASCC) in 2009. She is a current member on the AAPC's steering committee for the ASC specialty exam. Reacal has a well-rounded knowledge base in coding which only enhances her advanced knowledge in all aspects of coding, billing, reimbursement, and compliance for physicians and ASC. Having worked with multiple specialties in multiple states has allowed Reacal to become skilled in understanding the intricacies of insurance rules and regulations, including Medicare and Medicaid.
Susan Ellsworth
Assistant to CEOAs assistant to James Cobb, Ms. Ellsworth's high-level executive support experience is essential to our administrative team. Her extensive knowledge of business practices and legal background enables her to act as liaison between Mr. Cobb and our clients and monitor current projects. In addition to Ms. Ellsworth's many skills, she is also a notary public. Ms. Ellsworth is currently increasing her knowledge in the area of human resources and will be also be providing assistance to the Human Resources department.
